What you need to get started

1. HomeMate Smart Door Sensor.
2. Phone must be connected to 2.4 Ghz WiFi network only (and not 5 Ghz).
3. Location should be ON.
4. Mobile Bluetooth should be ON.

Download app and Register account

1. Download HomeMate Smart App from App Store or Google Play.

       - You can scan the QR code below to download the HomeMate Smart App：

          You can also search “HomeMate Smart” in either App Store or Google Play to install the App.

      2. Open App and register your account.

      3. Create Home in Home Management Setting.

      4. Set location.

Pairing of Smart Door Sensor with HomeMate Smart app can be done through 2 process flow in app. If Process 1 fails, try Process 2 :

Process 1: Auto-detection using Bluetooth

Steps to connect HomeMate Smart Door Sensor with HomeMate Smart App

1. Install the HomeMate Smart Door Sensor to its place and give electrical connections.
2. Connect your mobile with home Wi-Fi(2.4Ghz).
3. Bluetooth and location must be On.
4. You need to make sure that the LED on Door Sensor is blinking, if not try pressing resetting button present on the back side inside cover for 7-8 seconds.
5. Open the HomeMate Smart App.
6. Tap '+' at the top right corner or 'Add device' button on the Home screen.
   
   
   
7. It will automatically show the nearby device ready to be paired.
   
   
   
   
8. Tap on "Go to add"
9. Tap '+' at the top right corner to add the device.
   
   
   
   
10. Enter Wi-Fi Password then tap on "Confirm".
    
    
    
    
11. It will connect to the HomeMate Smart Door Sensor.
12. After adding you can edit the name of the HomeMate Smart Door Sensor.
13. Tap on pencil mark located after Smart Door Sensor.
    
    
    
    
    
14. Type the desired name like "Door Sensor" tap on "Save" then tap on "Done" located on the Top right corner.
    
    
    

Process 2: Using Search device Wi-Fi process flow:

Steps to connect Smart Door Sensor with HomeMate Smart App

1. Install the HomeMate Smart Door Sensor to its place and give electrical connections.
2. Connect your mobile with home Wi-Fi(2.4Ghz).
3. Bluetooth and location must be On.
4. You need to make sure that the LED on Door Sensor is blinking, if not try pressing resetting button present on the back side inside cover for 7-8 seconds.
5. Open the HomeMate Smart App.
6. Tap '+' at the top right corner or 'Add device' button on the Home screen.
7. Select Contact Sensor.
   
   
   
   
8. Make sure that Smart Door Sensor flashes and then tap "Confirm indicator rapidly blink" to go to next step, If the indicator is not flashing quickly, then try to Long press the reset switch for 7 seconds.
   
    
   
   
9. Select Wi-Fi 2.4Ghz and type the password then tap on "Next"
   
   
   

   
   
   

10. Add successfully message appears once device is connected.
