HomeMate Smart Lock

What you need to get started

  1. HomeMate Smart Lock.
  2. Phone must be connected to 2.4 Ghz WiFi network only (and not 5 Ghz).
  3. Location should be ON.
  4. Mobile Bluetooth should be ON.

Download app and Register account

  1. Download HomeMate Smart App from App Store or Google Play.

          You can also search “HomeMate Smart” in either App Store or Google Play to install the App.

      2. Open App and register your account.

      3. Create Home in Home Management Setting.

      4. Set location.

HomeMate Smart Lock Door Information

Door Thickness

Suitable to 35mm ~ 60 mm thickness door.

Determine the Door Direction

When a person stands outside the door and opens the door with his left hand, that means choosing the left open. People who open the door with their right hand choose right open.


Changes the Lock Direction

Change the direction of the handle: Remove this screw.


NoteDon't remove the smart lock handle. If you must remove it, please be careful not to break  the wire

 

Changing Mortise Direction

When installing the Mortise, the latch bolt is on the upper side the dead bolt under the latch bolt, and the inclined surface of the latch bolt is facing the opening direction.

  1. Reserve the lock body and latch bolt is down(refer to picture 2)
  2. Push the latch bolt lower than front plate stopblock is down and
  3. rotate 180 degrees (refer to picture 2)
  4. Push the latch bolt into hole (refer to picture 3)

HomeMate Smart Lock Door Installation


  1. Dig holes in the door according to the drawings.
  2. Put Mortise in the door.
  3. Fix Mortise with screws.
  4. Install the connecting rod on the lock.
  5. Insert the square pole into Mortise.
  6. Install Mortise: Triangle is downward.
  7. Install latch: Triangle is toward the handle
  8. Put the spring into the rear handle.
  9. Tighten the 2 screws.
  10. Tighten the battery cover screws

How to Setup Admin In HomeMate Smart Lock

Press "* #"
Please enter administrator information
(Enter 123456 #)

Press 1 for Administrator setting

  1. Press 1 to add Administrator
    Enter Administrator information (Enter fingerprint, password or IC card, The fingerprint needs to be entered 4 times), the password needs to be entered 2 times, and the IC needs to be entered 1 time.
  2. Press 2 to Delete Administrator.
    Enter number press # confirm(002 #) (Unable to delete all, the first administrator reserved)
    Enter number press # confirm(002 #) (Unable to delete all, the first administrator reserved)
  3. Press 3 for Internet Settings
    (If you want to unlock the Lock through HomeMate Smart App, please download the HomeMate Smart App and register an account then follow the below steps)
    1. Press 3 (0 lights flashing on the lock).
    2. Follow the " Steps to connect HomeMate Smart Lock with HomeMate Smart App" section below      to know the full process.

Press 2 for User settings

  1. Press 1 to add User
    Enter administrator information (Enter fingerprint, password or IC card, The fingerprint needs to be entered 4 times, the password needs to be entered 2 times, and the IC needs to be entered 1 time.

  2. Press 2 to Delete User.
    Press 1
    to delete according to the number » Please enter the number and press # to confirm.
    Press 2 to delete all users » Press # to confirm, the system will delete all users.

Press 3 for System settings

  1. Press 1 to Voice Settings
    Press 1 to turn on voice, Press 2 to turn off the voice.
  2. Press 2 for Language Selection
    Press 1
    Chinese
    Press 2 English
  3. Press 3 for Office Mode
    For office area use, when you enter information (fingerprint, password or card) to open the door, anyone can open the door without fingerprint, password or card When you go out, you need to lock the door, and you need to enter the information (fingerprint, password or card) again to cancel the office mode.
  4. Press 4 to Restore Settings
    Please Enter Administration Information
    The screen light flashes and the recovery is successful

Steps to connect HomeMate Smart Lock with HomeMate Smart App

  1. Install the HomeMate Smart Lock to its place.
  2. Connect your mobile with home Wi-Fi(2.4Ghz).
  3. Bluetooth and location must be On.
  4. Set an administrator information (password or fingerprint or IC card) to the smart lock.
  5. Press ** on the smart lock » Enter administrator information #» Press 1» Press 3 » (light 0 is flashing),
  6. Open HomeMate Smart APP and click Add Device 



  7. Select Smart Lock



  8. Select Wi-Fi 2.4Ghz and type the password then tap on "Next"



  9. APP interface display: alarm, member management, door opening log, temporary password
  10. Enter member management, the system displays (unassociated), click Unassociated "Edit" to add fingerprint
  11. Remote unlocking: Press 9 # on the door lock, and you will receive a message prompt on the mobile phone APP: Someone requests to open the door remotely, click unlock to complete the remote unlocking.


Checks and tips

  1. The lock is unlocked when you do not enter any information on the lock. Please check: Whether the orientation of the triangle is correct. Is the square pole too long?
  2. After you enter the unlock information, the lock cannot be unlocked. Please check: Is there still electricity? Is the power too low? Whether the motor is working.
  3. If the error message is entered 5 times in a row, the system will automatically lock for 90 seconds.
  4. After the voltage is lower than 4.5V, it will automatically alarm every time the lock is unlocked and the door lock can be opened 200 times after the alarm. Please replace the battery.
  5. In the setting, if there is no operation within 10 seconds, the system will automatically exit the setting.
  6. Insurance function: Press the Anti-lock switch, the user cannot unlock, only the administrator can unlock.
  7. If the smart lock cannot connect to Wi-Fi, please check whether the anti-lock switch is turned on.
  8. If the smart lock cannot connect to Wi-Fi, please check whether the power is too low.
  9. If you want to restore factory settings:
    1. First open the HomeMate Smart APP on the phone, and remove the smart lock device in the APP
    settings.
    2. Then restore the factory settings on the smart lock. (Long press the button in the battery box) (The order 1 to 2 cannot be mistaken)
