What you need to get started

1. HomeMate 4 Node smart Switch.
2. Phone must be connected to 2.4 Ghz WiFi network only (and not 5 Ghz).
3. Location should be ON.
4. Mobile Bluetooth should be ON.

Download app and Register account

1. Download HomeMate Smart App from App Store or Google Play.

          You can also search “HomeMate Smart” in either App Store or Google Play to install the App.

      2. Open App and register your account.

      3. Create Home in Home Management Setting.

      4. Set location.

4 Node Smart Switch Connection Diagram

1. Open the switchboard top cover. Remove all the connections of the loads from the switch board and label them with numbers based on the load connection sequence to the switches. Identify and separate the neutral in the switchboard.

   Note: ON/OFF operating principle: The connected appliances work/stop through live wire power ON/OFF .

   Switch off the main supply while making connections.
   
   
2. Connect the 4 wires cable wires individually to the switches at where the load wires taken off from the switches based on previous switch sequence. The manual cables color sequence is 1-Black, 2- Brown, 3-Red and 4-Orange.
3. Fit the product properly inside the switchboard. verify all the connections including Line and Neutral, Load sequence and Input connections.  

Pairing of HomeMate 4 Node smart Switch with HomeMate Smart app can be done through 2 process flow in app. If Process 1 fails, try Process 2 :

Process 1: Auto-detection using Bluetooth

Steps to connect HomeMate 4 Node smart Switch with HomeMate Smart App

1. After giving input and Load connection to the 4 Node smart Switch check if the Wi-Fi LED is blinking. If it is not blinking, follow the below steps.
   After connecting the device as mentioned above installation process, toggle any switch (any one switch) for 7 times in 3 seconds duration until you see the indicator light blinks rapidly.
2. Connect your mobile with home Wi-Fi(2.4Ghz).
3. Bluetooth and location must be On.
4. Open the HomeMate Smart App.
5. Tap '+' at the top right corner or 'Add device' button on the Home screen.
   
   
   
   
6. It will automatically show the nearby device ready to be paired.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
7. Tap on "add"
8. Enter Wi-Fi Password then tap on "Next".
   
   
   
   
9. It will connect to the HomeMate 4 Node smart Switch.
   
   
   
   
10. After adding you can edit the name of the HomeMate 4 Node smart Switch.
11. Tap on pencil mark located after 4 Node Smart Switch.
    
    
    
    
12. Type the desired name like "Bedroom switch" tap on "Save" then tap on "Done" located on the screen.
    
    
    

Process 2: Using Search device Wi-Fi process flow:

Steps to connect 4 Node smart Switch with HomeMate Smart App

1. Install the HomeMate 4 Node smart Switch to its place and give electrical connections.
2. Check if the Wi-Fi LED is blinking. If it is not blinking, follow the below steps.
   Toggle any switch (any one switch) for 7 times in 3 seconds duration until you hear a Buzzer sound from the device and also the indicator light blinks rapidly.
3. Connect your mobile with home Wi-Fi(2.4Ghz).
4. Bluetooth and location must be On.
5. Open the HomeMate Smart App.
6. Tap '+' at the top right corner or 'Add device' button on the Home screen.
7. Select 4 Node Switch.
   
   
   
   
   
8. Make sure that 4 Node smart Switch flashes and then tap "Confirm indicator rapidly blink" to go to next step, If the indicator is not flashing quickly, then try to switch the 4 Node smart Switch Switch on and off 4-5 times manually.
   
   
    
   
   
9. Select Wi-Fi 2.4Ghz and type the password then tap on "Next"
   
   
   

   
   
   

10. Add successfully message appears once device is connected.
